Regenity Biosciences Phase I
Description
Regenity Biosciences Phase I (formerly Collagen Matrix) engaged Hodess to deliver a 13,000 sf ISO 7 biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility under a design-build model. The project included demolition of existing cleanroom and laboratory areas to prepare the space for redevelopment.
New HVAC systems were installed throughout the facility, including chillers, boilers, makeup air units, recirculating air systems, and exhaust infrastructure. Electrical and mechanical upgrades were implemented to support manufacturing operations and maintain consistent environmental control.
The manufacturing suites were constructed to ISO Class 7 standards and organized into multiple pressure-controlled zones. The scope also included installation of an emergency generator for critical equipment, freeze dryers with dedicated process cooling, freezer storage units, and a wastewater evaporation system designed to meet regulatory requirements.
Exterior improvements included equipment pads, a secured generator enclosure, and a new chemical storage building to support facility operations.
