Mayo Clinic Rochester, Minnesota
Description
Mayo Clinic partnered with Hodess under a design-assist delivery model for the development of a 22,500 sf ISO 7 and ISO 8 research facility in Rochester, Minnesota. The space was created to support cell therapy research and experimental treatments focused on rare diseases and regenerative biomanufacturing.
The project included a pharmaceutical-grade cleanroom installation consisting of wall and ceiling systems, doors, pass-through units, flooring, lighting, HEPA filtration, and related accessories to support a highly controlled research environment.
Advanced engineering efforts were incorporated into the design process, including computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis and noise studies to accommodate sensitive research equipment and ensure optimal performance within the space.
