Description
Doctor’s Community Hospital engaged Hodess to deliver an ISO 7 and ISO 8 cleanroom pharmacy in Lanham, Maryland, under a design-build model. The project was completed as part of a larger hospital renovation and was developed to meet USP 797 standards for sterile pharmaceutical compounding.
The new cleanroom doubled the size of the existing compounding pharmacy, providing a modernized and compliant environment to support hospital pharmacy operations. The turnkey installation included new cleanroom wall and ceiling systems, welded sheet vinyl flooring, automatic doors, dedicated HVAC equipment, biosafety cabinets, and a pressure monitoring system to maintain proper environmental control.
The project was delivered under the Grifols Misterium Cleanroom brand, helping the hospital achieve regulatory compliance while enhancing operational efficiency.
