Our Work

Nelipak Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Description

Nelipak engaged Hodess to deliver a 30,000 sf cGMP ISO Class 7 cleanroom and CNC support spaces in Winston-Salem, North Carolina under a design-build model. The facility was developed to support rigid medical device packaging operations within a controlled manufacturing environment.

The project incorporated both a ducted mechanical system and a plenum-based system with a walkable ceiling design to allow for service access above the cleanroom. During early design phases, the team refined the approach to create a more cost-effective solution, reducing both initial construction costs and long-term operational expenses.

The completed facility provides a compliant, efficient, and scalable clean manufacturing environment tailored to medical device production needs.
